Salary: £20-25k D.O.E.
Full time: 5 days per week/flexible working hours

About the Role
The successful applicant will complete a Safety, Health and Environment Technician (Level 3) apprenticeship in the form of a remote college-led course. Learning will be facilitated within the successful applicant’s employment at the GeoAcoustics site in Great Yarmouth.
Main responsibilities
Assisting the development and maintenance of the HSEQ Management System, including document control.
Conduct site Safety Walks, alongside the HSEQ Manager, ensuring safe working practices and behaviour is conducted.
Assisting the HSEQ Manager to facilitate external audits, including ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental, and internal audits.
Reviewing and compiling of Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments.
Providing administrative support to facilitate the HSEQ Observation System.
Providing administrative support to ensure staff training is current.
Assist incident/near miss investigations and report writing.
Assist facilities management administration.
Assist in quality control activities, such as recording Inspection Defect Reports / Material Reject Notes.
Other duties as required by the line manager
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
One year of work experience, ideally in an office environment.
5x GCSE’s (including English and Maths) at Grade 4 or above.
Computer literate (competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Evidence of self-motivation and work ethic via extra-curricular activities.
Confident persona with willingness to question unsafe actions.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to continue to learn and develop
Excellent team player
Problem solver with a positive attitude
