All-in-one multibeam echosounder engineered for performance, reliability and data integrity
GeoMB is a compact multibeam echosounder with
integrated auxiliary sensors, delivering
dependable, high-resolution bathymetric data.
GeoMB is a compact, all-in-one multibeam echosounder designed to deliver reliable, high-resolution bathymetric data in demanding survey environments. As GeoAcoustics’ first multibeam system, it combines proven hydroacoustic expertise with a practical, integrated design.
By bringing together multibeam processing, navigation, motion sensing, and sound velocity measurement, GeoMB reduces setup complexity and supports consistent data quality in dynamic conditions.
Optimised for small survey vessels, vessels of opportunity, and uncrewed platforms, it enables efficient bathymetric data acquisition across hydrographic, environmental, and inspection applications.
Integrated sensing for consistent data quality
GeoMB integrates acquisition, positioning, motion, and sound velocity inputs within a single system, reducing alignment errors and latency between sensors. This supports stable, repeatable data quality, particularly where vessel motion and changing water conditions can affect results.
Designed for practical deployment
A compact and lightweight design allows GeoMB to be installed quickly across a range of platforms. From small vessels to USVs, the system supports rapid mobilisation without extensive modification, making it well suited to time-sensitive survey operations.
Reliable performance in dynamic environments
Real-time motion and sound velocity compensation maintain accurate depth measurement as conditions change. This ensures dependable data acquisition in shallow, high-energy, and variable coastal environments.
Flexible integration into existing workflows
GeoMB interfaces with standard navigation systems and supports third-party sensors, allowing straightforward integration into established workflows. Navigation data can also be shared with external acquisition and processing software.
Efficient operation across multiple platforms
Low power consumption and a robust design make GeoMB suitable for platforms where space and resources are limited. This enables high-quality multibeam surveys from compact vessels and autonomous systems.
